In this study, we explore shoes as a metaphor to symbolize our walk with God, the paths we take in life, and our readiness to serve. Shoes protect our physical feet from stickers, hot sidewalks, and dirt. They provide comfort and a firm foundation while standing and walking. Shoes also provide style and being prepared for the appropriate occasion.
God’s Word stands as our spiritual foundation, firm, solid, and incapable of being moved, shaken, or changed. This study will dig deep into our walk with God and understanding the principles of our FAITH.
"Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience" (Colossians 3:12).
The purpose of this study is to examine Colossians 3:12, and ask the question “What’s in your closet?” It expands on the details of what the Scriptures say regarding our spiritual apparel. There comes a time when we need to dig deep into our spiritual closet to purge and refresh it with a renewed understanding of God-Fashioned Designs.
